She was a master of the Force with unparalleled lightsaber skills, and cunning intelligence, this made her a terrifying foe. The Second Sister’s true identity was Trilla Suduri, and she was a highly skilled and powerful Force-sensitive individual. She trained under Cere Junda as a Jedi Padawan, who was a capable Jedi Knight. Together, they fought to protect the younglings from the horrors of Order 66 during the Clone Wars.

In a desperate attempt to protect others, Trilla urged her master to stay with her. However, Cere insisted on leading the Empire’s forces away, a decision that allowed her to escape leaving Trilla behind, who was eventually captured alongside the remaining younglings.

Although Cere Junda was successful in escaping her enemies at first but she was eventually captured and taken to the Fortress Inquisitorius. There she was tortured and was forced to reveal Trilla’s location. This betrayal marked a breaking point for Trilla, who also endured the Empire’s brutal torture. After which she transformed from Trilla Suduri into an Inquisitor known as the Second Sister.

When Cere Junda was being held captive and tortured by the Empire, she succumbed to her emotions and unleashed a powerful Force wave that killed the stormtroopers that were present and incapacitated her captors. This act allowed her to escape. Trilla, however, was left behind to face further torment and eventually embraced the dark side, taking on the identity of the Second Sister.

Trilla Siduri was kind and compassionate as a Jedi. She deeply cared for her master, Cere Junda and protected the younglings during the Clone Wars. However, after the perceived betrayal from her master Cere Junda and the harsh torture she endured, her personality became quite dark.

Now, as an Inquisitor, the Second Sister became very cruel, calculating, and sadistic. She took great pleasure in hunting Force-sensitive survivors and eliminating them all for the Empire. She hated the Jedi Order so much and thought it was a failure. Her hatred for the Jedi was fueled by her traumatic experiences and bitterness, driving her relentless pursuits.

She is known for her sociopathic tendencies of manipulating her enemies and playing with their emotions to understand their fears and weaknesses. On top of that, she used to collect trophies of the people she hunted. Although, despite her arrogant and intimidating nature, she was terrified of Darth Vader. This reveals her vulnerability under the false facade of being so arrogant of her dark abilities.

The Second Sister was highly skilled at lightsaber combat and was a strong dark side Force user. She knew of and implemented techniques like Force Dash to move quickly and Force Drain to absorb energy from her opponents. She was also quite talented in anticipating her opponent’s move during combat, helping her in creating good counterattacks. In addition to this, she was good at telekinesis.

Through telekinesis, she used Force Push and Force Repulse to control her surroundings and keep enemies at bay. Moreover, she could also slow her fall, giving her a smooth advantage over her enemies in the battle.

She was able to throw her double bladed lightsaber at a reasonable time, making her a powerful force to fight against in combat. She was skilled in using it at close quarters and in distance as well. She was such a skilled combatant that Cal Kestis also believed that he won their duel partly because she was not in a good emotional state during the duel which likely affected her performance.

Additionally, her technical skills, the one she learned under Cere were showcased when she hacked Cal Kestis’ comm signal which demonstrated her resourcefulness. She was also a capable pilot, often flying a TIE/IN interceptor.

Encounters with Cal Kestis 

As a Jedi in hiding, Cal Kestis was the primary target for the Second Sister. Their encounters were intense and pivotal to both their stories.

First Encounter on Bracca

The Second Sister along with the Ninth Sister and a few Purge Troopers travelled to Bracca to find and kill any surviving Jedi. On Bracca, she asked the Scrapper Guild members to hand over the Jedi suspect; otherwise, they would execute the entire guild. As Purge Troopers aimed at the scrappers, Cal Kestis’ friend Prauf spoke out. He openly criticized the Galactic Empire and also gestured towards the Second Sister in an accusatory manner. The Second Sister brought out her lightsaber and killed him in an instant.

Cal, in an impulsive attempt to fight back, revealed himself to be a Jedi, but his attacks were effortlessly deflected by the Second Sister. She taunted him before throwing him towards the Ninth Sister with the Force. Cal was able to narrowly escape with the help of Cere Junda and the Stinger Mantis.

Hunt Across the Galaxy

This led the Second Sister to hunt the two Jedi across the galaxy. Firstly, she confronted Cal Kestis on Zeffo. Next, she raised planets that she thought Cal Kestis had been to such as Kashyyyk and Ontotho. After that, she confronted Cal Kestis at Bogano. 

Following this, the Second Sister obtained a Holocron which had a list of Force-sensitive individuals. When Cal Kestis got to know about this, he followed her to the Inquisitorius headquarters on Nur, where they dueled. During the duel, Cal kept using her past, forcing the second sister to relive the trauma of betrayal by Cere Junda and torture by Imperialist Forces to gain the upper hand in the fight. 

Eventually, Cal Kestis was able to hit the Second Sister on the shoulder which caused her lightsaber to fall. This made her fall to her knees defeated, which allowed Cal to forcibly retrieve the Holocron from her. 

Cere Junda, the Second Sister's former master arrives and asks for forgiveness for all the pain she caused to the Second Sister. But the inquisitor insisted it was too late and how much she hated Cere Junda.

Death 

During this altercation, the Second Sister sensed the arrival of Darth Vader. He used the Force to hold her which made it difficult for her to move. She tells Cere Junda and Cal Kestis, “Avenge us” before Darth Vader activates his saber and executes her on the spot. This was because of the Second Sister’s inability to obtain the Holocron and hunting Cal Kestis.

The Second Sister’s legacy lies in her persistent pursuit of Jedi and her role in the Empire’s mission to eradicate Force-sensitive beings.
