Frequently Asked Questions
Saber Technology
What is the difference between RGB and Xenopixel sabers?
RGB (Baselit) sabers have LEDs in the hilt and a hollow blade. They are designed for heavy dueling, stunts, and hard impacts, making them more durable.
Xenopixel, SN Pixel, and Proffie sabers have LED strips inside the blade. They are brighter and offer more realistic effects, but are best suited for light to moderate dueling. These sabers include features such as smooth swing, tip drag, melting effects, blaster effects, and multiple ignition modes.
In short: RGB is better for durability, while pixel sabers are better for realism and features.
What is the difference between Xenopixel and SN Pixel?
Both are pixel sabers with similar brightness, color range, and core features. They are suitable for moderate dueling.
The main difference is in the sound fonts:
- Xenopixel includes around 34 sound fonts
- SN Pixel includes around 27 sound fonts
What is a Pixel (Neopixel) saber?
A pixel saber uses LED strips inside the blade to produce higher brightness, realistic ignition effects, and advanced animations. It also includes enhanced sound and motion effects.
Is Neopixel better than RGB?
It depends on how you plan to use the saber. RGB sabers are more durable and better for heavy dueling. Neopixel sabers offer better brightness, realism, and advanced features.
What is a Neopixel blade?
A Neopixel blade contains LED strips running along its length. This makes it brighter and more visually immersive compared to standard blades.
Features and Customization
Can I choose my saber color?
Yes. All sabers support a full RGB color spectrum, allowing you to switch between multiple colors such as red, blue, green, purple, and more.
Can I customize sounds and effects?
Yes. You can customize sound fonts, blade effects, and ignition styles. Proffie sabers offer the most advanced level of customization due to their open-source system.
Do your sabers include special effects like tip drag?
Yes. Pixel sabers include advanced effects such as tip drag, blaster deflect, melting effects, and multiple ignition styles.
Do your sabers have hunter mode?
Yes. Hunter mode is one of the ignition styles available in many sabers. You can cycle through ignition modes using the hilt controls.
Can I design my own custom lightsaber?
We do not currently offer custom hilt design. However, you can customize sounds, blade effects, and features, especially with Proffie sabers.
Durability and Combat
Can you duel with NEO Sabers?
Yes, but the type of saber matters. RGB sabers are suitable for heavy dueling, while pixel sabers are designed for light to moderate dueling.
How durable are Proffie vs Xenopixel sabers?
Both use pixel blades and are suitable for light to moderate dueling. For heavy combat, RGB sabers are recommended.
Are Neopixel sabers safe?
Yes, when used properly. They are designed for safe use but require more careful handling compared to RGB sabers.
Do pixel blades break easily?
Pixel blades are durable but not designed for repeated heavy impacts. Hard strikes during intense dueling can damage the blade.
