Star Wars: Top 10 Strongest Jedi Ever

top-10-strongest-jedi

The Star Wars maven keeps bickering about the strongest Jedi ever.

"It's, undoubtedly, Anakin, having the best swordsman skills,'' one says.

"No, do you not remember Obi-Wan defeated him?", another fan interrupts immediately.

"Not at all, statistics tell us the strongest is Luke Skywalker.", some wonder.

This discussion has been interminable until now. There are two factions in George Lucas' Star Wars franchise. The protagonists represent the Light Side while the practitioners of the Dark Side of the Force are antagonists. The former is known as Jedi while the latter is dubbed as Sith.

Jedi is a quite puissant Force and throughout the Star Sars history, we have seen different strong members of the Jedi Order.

Determining the “best” Jedi of all time is a subjective matter that varies based on different criteria. There are, however, some features that all best Jedis share;

  1. Power and Skill:This includes mastery in lightsaber combat, mastery of Force powers and overall effectiveness during any kind of dueling/fighting. Characters such as Yoda and Mace Windu are often hailed for their exemplary skills and might in the Force.
  2. Wisdom and Leadership: Being able to make good decisions, lead others, and give directions is critical. For example, Obi-Wan Kenobi was wise and played major roles in guiding others as did Luke Skywalker.
  3. Impact on the Galaxy:The effect a Jedi had on the galaxy’s events is an important consideration. Among such characters include Luke Skywalker or Anakin Skywalker (before he fell) who have made great impacts on the historical trends of the galaxy’s life.
  4. Adherence to Jedi Code: The loyalty to the Jedi Code and its principles is another major feature for any contender to the list of the most powerful Jedi. Jedi who embody the principle above, such as Qui-Gon Jinn and Ahsoka Tano, are often seen as exemplary.
  5. Bravery and Selflessness: Acts of courage and sacrifice are also extremely necessary.

Everyone can have different opinions and views over who counts in the list, but we have compiled a ranking of our very own.

This blog will bring you a comprehensive list of the 10 strongest Jedi of all time who existed in the fictional world of Lucas' franchise. Our focus will primarily be on movies. As the rich history of the expanded universe makes it practically impossible to include all in this article.

Enjoy from the ascending order!
