Seventh Sister’s early life remains a mystery in Star Wars Canon. While she is a Mirialan, there is no evidence confirming her origins on Mirial or her training at the Jedi Temple under Master Yoda or Aayla Secura. It is likely that, like many other Inquisitors, she was a Jedi or Force-sensitive individual who fell to the dark side or was coerced into serving the Empire after Order 66.

Becoming an Inquisitor

After the rise of the Empire, the Jedi who survived Order 66 were either captured and killed, or tortured into joining the Inquisitorius, a secret group tasked with hunting Jedi survivors. Trained under the supervision of Darth Vader, the Seventh Sister became a skilled Jedi hunter, wielding her Force abilities and combat skills with deadly precision. Her combination of Jedi skills and dark side powers made her one of the Empire’s most dangerous assets.

Mission to Hunt Jedi

After becoming an inquisitor, the Seventh Sister’s main task was to track down all the remaining Jedi that were hidden in the galaxy. She was frequently paired with the Fifth Brother, and together they started their efforts towards their operation of hunting the Ghost Crew, a group of rebels. Despite being a team with the same goal, the Seventh Sister and the Fifth Brother often conflicted on their approaches; she preferred manipulation and strategic planning, and he relied on brute force to defeat the enemies.

Ambush at the Smirkish Medical Station

The Seventh Sister's first major encounter with the Ghost crew occurred at the abandoned Republic Medical Station. She used her ID9 seeker droids to quickly locate Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren. Ezra, initially mistaking her for a bounty hunter, revealed her identity when she ignited her spinning lightsaber.

In the ensuing battle, Sabine managed to escape, but the Seventh Sister captured Ezra.

The Seventh Sister’s Manipulative Strategies

After capturing Ezra Bridger, the Seventh Sister instead of simply killing him immediately, manipulated him and tried to turn him to the Dark Side. She attempted to exploit Ezra’s doubts and fears, targeting his insecurities about his Jedi training and failures. However, Kanan and Sabine soon rescued him, leaving the Seventh Sister frustrated.

Abduction of Force-Sensitive Children

Following her failure at the Medical Station, the Seventh Sister turned her attention to an even darker mission: abducting Force-sensitive children for the Empire. In this mission she was paired with the Fifth Brother and together they tracked and kidnapped infants, including Alora, a Force-sensitive child, aboard a passenger ship.

Their next target was Pypey, an Ithorian infant on the planet Takodo. The Ghost Crew and Ahsoka Tano intervened and confronted the Inquisitors, defeating the Seventh Sister once again.

Jedi Temple on Lothal

The Seventh Sister and the Fifth Brother eventually landed on a key planet of the rebellion, Lothal. They intended to recover a Jedi holocron and to capture Kanan and Ezra. Using her seeker droids, the Seventh Sister tracked the rebels to a Jedi Temple, where they encountered visions of Jedi Temple Guards, complicating their mission.

Though unsuccessful, the Seventh Sister reported the growing strength of the Jedi to Darth Vader.

Final Hunt and Death on Malachor

The Seventh Sister’s final mission was on Malachor, an ancient Sith world. Where she, alongside the Fifth Brother and Eighth Brother, sought a Sith holocron. There the inquisitors clashed with Kanan, Ezra, and Ahsoka. Darth Maul also joined the battle and after a brief lightsaber duel between Ezra and the Seventh Sister, Darth Maul captured the Seventh Sister and showed no hesitation to kill her with a swift lightsaber strike.

Combat Skills and Lightsaber Mastery

The Seventh Sister was a highly skilled combatant, who wielded a spinning double-bladed lightsaber, a signature weapon of the Inquisitors. She used her weapon with deadly precision, combining swift, acrobatic movements with her deep knowledge of the Force. Unlike other Inquisitors, the Seventh Sister often relied on manipulation rather than brute force, exploiting her opponent’s weaknesses. In battle, she demonstrated her control over her emotions, using her calm behaviour to weaken her enemies. Her ID9 seeker droids were also integral to her fighting style, often distracting or incapacitating opponents, allowing her to strike with lethal effectiveness.

Legacy

The Seventh Sister was a ruthless Inquisitor with a cunning and manipulative nature. She had a calm personality along with the skill to play mind games and weaken the opponents. For example, when she captured Ezra Bridger, she kept on manipulating him and fueled on his fears. The legacy of the Seventh Sister is based on a dedication to succeed in her mission not only by the Force but also by strategic thinking. The Seventh Sister remained one of the most formidable and memorable Inquisitors in Star Wars Rebels, symbolizing the Empire's ruthless grip on the galaxy during the rise of the Empire.
