Darth Revan, the Jedi-converted-Sith Lord, wielded Darth Revan's Sith lightsaber. The Sith lightsaber was operated by him both before and after becoming the Sith Lord of Dark side. However, the lightsaber was crushed at the time when his apprentice Darth Malak fired at his spacecraft. This resulted in Darth Revan being gravely injured.
History of Darth Revan as Sith Lord
Darth Revan- a Sith Lord, built his own Empire by fighting against the ancient Republic. He was regarded as one of the strongest Sith Lords. Many of Revan's days were spent as a Lord of the Dark Side of the Force. He was well-versed in the ways of the Force. At the time when he was performing his duties as a Sith Lord, he most likely learnt the banned lightsaber Form VII, Juyo. He is one of those rare Sith lords who has returned to the light side of force.
At the time of the Mandalorian Wars, Vitiate, a Sith lord, plotted to destroy the Jedi Order while aligning with the Mandalorians. He took advantage of Revan's rash behavior and utilized mind control to change Revan's as well as Malak’s memories, pushing both to the dark side.
Darth Revan and Darth Malak were eventually released from the control of Sith Vitiate, though not from the dark side. Darth Revan rose to prominence as a formidable Sith lord after killing Vitiate and ascending to the position of Dark Side Lord along with the goal of establishing a Galactic Empire. Following the "rule of the two," he got hold of Darth Malak as his apprentice.
So long as Raven remained a Sith Lord, Darth Revan changed the blue crystal in his blade with a synthetic crimson crystal and operated a red Sith lightsaber.
Darth Raven’s Red Lightsaber
Raven wielded a red-bladed lightsaber at the time of his association with the dark side. Revan initially employed this weapon in opposition to Mandalore the Ultimate in the final years of the Mandalorian Wars. Revan preserved his lightsaber after being corrupted to the dark side of force by the Sith Emperor, although replaced the real blue-bladed lightsaber crystal by a synthetic red-bladed saber. Revan waged his own war against the Republic as he wanted to destroy the Jedi Order and create a Sith Empire. Lightsaber was famously used when a strike force was organized by Bastila Shan to seize the Darth Lord.

History of Darth Revan as Jedi
Darth Revan's narrative begins in the Old Republic Era, circa 3994 BBY (prior to the Battle of Yavin). Darth Revan was trained at the ancient Jedi Order academy during his formative years. He was trained under Jedi Master Kreia, who later became Darth Traya. He had a single blue-bladed lightsaber with a cylindrical hilt in his hands. Revan began poking his nose into important Jedi Order affairs after acquiring the status of Jedi Knight.
He even went against Jedi teaching and married later in life, believing that good emotions make a Jedi powerful and stronger. Darth Revan was a Jedi Knight, yet he operated in his own way. During the Mandalorian-Jedi war, Revan rebelled against the Jedi Order and founded the Revanchists organization. With the help of his companion, Jedi Knight Malak, he was able to vanquish Mandalore the supreme. Revan's primary lightsaber at the time was a blue lightsaber (single-bladed) with a hilt made of alloy metal. He also wielded a purple lightsaber to symbolize his defiance of the Jedi Council's demands.
Darth Raven’s Blue lightsaber
At the time of his retraining, Revan created this lightsaber, which had a blue blade. Malak abandoned his mentor Darth Revan and rushed away from one of the fights against the Jedi Order, abandoning him behind. Revan was given a memory clean by the Jedi Council to erase his memories of his Sith past as well as to give him a new recognition as a faithful Republic soldier. Revan developed a new lightsaber with a blue blade, as favored by the Jedi, entirely oblivious of his recent infatuation with the evil side.
In the company of Bastila together with other comrades by his side, he soon ran with his old pal Malak, who had assumed command of the Sith Empire while Revan was away. In a lightsaber combat, Revan ultimately vanquished Malak. He ended the reign of Darth Malak (new Emperor) by using his lightsaber against him. Revan then changed his lightsaber once more, this time choosing a green blade.
Darth Raven’s Green lightsaber
Revan altered the color of his blade to green after defeating Darth Malak, and used it until he was captured by the Sith Emperor.
Revan left the known galaxy in 3954 BBY, soon after the Jedi Civil War, as more of his lost memories began to emerge. He took the lightsaber with him. Darth Nyriss, a pureblood Dark Council representative, and her pupil, the pure-blooded Sith Lord menace, eventually kidnapped him at the former's citadel. His lightsaber was snatched and held as a reward whilst its possessor was mistreated for months by his captors in an attempt to extract details from him. After three years, with the aid of Scourge, Jedi Knight Meetra Surik arrived to rescue him. They beat the Dark Council member as a team, and Revan received his lightsaber back.
Surik, Revan together with Scourge attacked the Sith Emperor's Citadel, and Revan's lightsaber was finally used again after three years, severing a large number of members of the Imperial Guard prior to fighting the Sith Emperor himself.
Darth Raven’s Purple Lightsaber
In spite of his terrible background, Revan resumed his loyalty to the Republic as a Jedi after being liberated from the influence of the dark side of the Force. His last lightsaber contained a violet-colored blade. A Jedi who has crossed over to the dark side is symbolized by a purple lightsaber. Raven has learned the art of managing and controlling unpleasant emotions. Raven constructed his own purple lightsaber and used it until his death.
At the time of the Cold War, Force Ghost of Meetra Surik, who had been by Darth Revan's side the entire time, alerted the Republic of his captivity. A strike squad by republic was dispatched to Taral V so as to obtain access to a Gree computer and plot a course across the Maelstrom. Revan wielded his violet lightsaber against an Imperial strike force led by Darth Malgus, who had commanded the station's capture as well as Revan's death.
Revan seemed to have lost in a tremendous fight, but he vanished in a flash of light prior to the final blow being delivered. The will of Darth Revan was so powerful that his brain split in two when he died. At the same time his light side welcomed the Force, his darker half, driven by revenge against Vitiate, triumphed over death and brought his own body back to life. Revan pledged that he would not depart this life till the Sith Emperor was exiled from the galaxy for good.
The lightsaber stayed with the Dark Side fueled warrior until he returned to head the Order of Revan, which carried his name, until he fell for the final time to the Republic and Imperial troops led Yavin IV attack. The lightsaber, along with his trademark mask and robes, were left behind as he merged with his Light Side personality and became complete again.

Darth Raven’s personality
Raven was a prominent Jedi Knight who became a Sith Lord of Dark Side of the Force before returning to the Jedi Order and assisted in the downfall of the Sith Empire he had built.
While Revan's latter years were filled with disorder, he was recognized as one of the most authoritative, renowned, and powerful people in history by both Sith and Jedi. Due to his significance in the Old Republic trilogy in addition to his post mortal impact on Sith doctrines decades later, Revan is undoubtedly one of the most influential characters in the whole Star Wars saga.
Darth Revan has always shown remarkable tenacity and intelligence, always looking for new methods to achieve what he believes is right. Revan has developed a frigid mindset as a result of the Mandalorian battles, and that forced him to pursue victory at any cost. At the time when he was a Sith, he was vicious and committed to Sith beliefs, believing that power is everything and disregarding any ideals of kindness or loyalty. Darth Bane was influenced by his principles when he created the Rule of Two, believing that a Sith Master should only have one pupil in order to avoid being overrun by several minor devotees.
Revan favors the concept of manipulating and corrupting his former foes to his advantage. Despite Raven’s terrible history, he is regarded as one of the greatest Jedi of all time.
